Hi, I’m Cristina.
I’m an Industrial Engineer by training and have spent more than 20 years as an SAP consultant working across countries, industries and business functions.
Since 2006 I’ve helped companies design, improve and implement business processes, working with international teams across Europe, India, the United States and beyond. Over the years I’ve worked as a consultant, on the client side, and as an independent freelancer in several countries.
What I enjoy most is understanding how systems really work: not just the software itself, but the processes and decisions behind it.
How I learned SAP
My first contact with SAP was as an end user in 2005. What fascinated me wasn’t the screens. It was everything hidden behind them.
Whenever I saw a message saying "You are not authorised" or a process behaving unexpectedly, I wanted to understand why. That curiosity eventually led me into consulting.
Since then I’ve worked on projects across multiple industries, countries and SAP landscapes. One advantage of seeing so many implementations is that you learn there is rarely only one way to solve the same problem.
Beyond SAP
One thing SAP taught me is that technology is rarely the real problem. The interesting questions usually sit elsewhere: how people make decisions, how businesses operate, and how systems interact with one another.
Over time, that same curiosity expanded beyond enterprise software. If you’re curious where it led next, you’ll find it further down.
Why this site is still here
Between 2020 and 2021 I published articles and SAP tutorials here in both English and Spanish. Creating them took far more work than most people realise: researching, writing, translating and recording everything alongside a full-time consulting career. There was no AI to lighten the load. I edited the videos myself, and I built the website without knowing the first thing about how to do it.
Some of that material is still useful today. I’m no longer publishing SAP content here, but I didn’t want all that work to disappear. This is an archive, not an abandoned blog.
